We are proud to collaborate with Beloved Youth Moving Forward South Africa (BYMFSA), a youth-focused organisation based in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, led by Mrs Thandiwe Shiba. BYMFSA empowers young people aged 13–18 with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to navigate and rise above challenging social circumstances, in partnership with Child Welfare Mbombela.
Our first UB Creators Club was launched with the BYMFSA cohort, creating a safe and engaging space for peer-to-peer learning. Through this platform, young ambassadors are supported to lead conversations and share knowledge with their peers.
Throughout the year, participants engage with a range of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) topics. Each session combines interactive presentations with activities designed to deepen understanding, encourage open dialogue, and build confidence. Sessions are further strengthened with AMAZE videos, providing relatable and age-appropriate edutainment.
To ensure continuous improvement, feedback is collected through surveys at the end of each session, allowing us to refine and strengthen our approach.
The UB Creators Club is more than a programme—it is a platform for youth empowerment, leadership, and informed decision-making. We’re currently in Q2, with many more engagements ahead. Stay tuned for updates as we continue this journey with our incredible cohort.
